This workshop will begin with an overview of Risk Assessment, some history and then a discussion of the present methodology and its role in Europe, North America, and globally.  This will be followed by discussions of several regulations and regulatory programs (REACH, CLP, GHS, EPA Prioritization, TSCA CDR, Canada CMP), and the interactions and relations between them.  Elements important to the printing ink industry will be discussed.

The availability of cost effective, quality raw materials has become a hot button issue within the inkindustry. This panel session will feature industry experts from suppliers of resins, pigments and flushes, solvents and oils, acrylics, etc. who will discuss current market drivers, market conditions (supply shortages, environmental issues, capacity concerns, etc.) and future trends and outlook for the sourcing concerns of the industry.
